Part of the Family

This is our Cody. He is the first dog I have ever owned. Growing up we had a couple of cats but they were always outside pets. He is so loveable! A few months back he had to have surgery to remove some bladder stones that had been formed. It was expensive but worth it! The Vet showed us the stones after he pulled them from Cody's bladder. Now I know why they call them stones. They really look and sound just like a rock. It was weird. But, he is our little "bundle of joy". Hehe. The Vet told us the stones were mostly formed from the fat in animal meat. So...Cody is a vegitarian now. Yep, you hear right, a vegitarian. I have never hear of a vegitarian dog. But the food is way cheaper then another surgery.

Cody HATES to take a bath! However, he LOVES the grooming after the bath. We brush and blow dry his hair. Plus after all of that he gets a cookie. So he endures it. He is a really good dog. We love him!

Lost Keys

Rob has finally topped all my "Richelleisms"! We have been searching for Rob's lost keys for at least the past three weeks. The collection included several important keys that if found by the wrong person could seriously put us in a bind. Recently the car alarm had been going off. It was really random but was happening more frequently lately. We tried everything. We took the battery out of my car alarm remote to see if that was doing it. Nope, the alarm still went off. Rob asked the neighbor if he had left his keys over at their place. We seriously thought a neighbor was pushing the button because every time we would respond to the alarm it would be turned off again by the time we got out to the car. Last night we finally decided to take the car into the dealership to see if there was something wrong with the alarm. Today the dealership told us there was nothing they could see wrong with the alarm. That the computer within the car told him it was the "Panic" button being activated. We now thought it had been the neighbor teasing us for sure. On the way home the neighbor told us he didn't find the keys anywhere but that he would keep looking. Well, when Rob got home tonight he looked in one of our recliner chairs and sure enough the keys were in the chair. So every time someone sat in that chair our car alarm would go off because it was pushing the "Panic" button just right. I swear we had looked there. Rob looses a lot of things but this tops then all! However, you gotta love him!
